Meet at project site to gain a deep understanding of what you want to achieve and how we can help.
Maybe you have a fully developed plan and need us to make it a reality. Or maybe you just have a feeling to go on (simple and clean, cozy, beachy, sexy, raw and gritty, organic, historic, pre-historic, etc.).
Wherever you’re coming from, don’t fret. We’ll guide you through this conversation.
Project Proposal
A detailed breakdown of the project scope with financial and time estimates.
We’ll work with you to fine tune this until terms are satisfactory and we’re all on the same page.
Strong communication and total transparency throughout is the key to building trust and your trust is what allows us to do our best work.
Conceptual Design
We develop 3 different visions for function, aesthetic and feel, each which satisfy your parameters in different ways.
Our goal is to present you with as broad a creative scope as we can, showing you what you may not have realized was achievable.
Just like a sculpture, we start with a big block of stone and keep cutting away until the perform form reveals itself.

An open discussion with your reactions to the 3 designs. Don’t be shy. You won’t hurt our feelings.
While we only show ideas we are proud of, our job is to create your dream, not ours.
By the end of this meeting, we’ll decide on the top 2 designs.

Two designs are further developed with the addition of 3D visualizations.
By now, you should have a good idea of how the space will be used and how it’ll look.
Both would make you happy, but only one will feel right.

At this point, we have a fully-developed structural and conceptual design. The construction plan is set and this is enough to file for approval with your HOA and the Department of Buildings (DOB).
We want to register these plans ASAP since it can take some time to hear back.

While waiting for DOB approval, we establish the actual details of your space. Specific furniture pieces, cabinetry and other built-ins, lighting environments, and surface finishes and start fabricating them.
We meet every 2-3 weeks throughout the remainder of the project.
